One should strive to approach understanding how a person can reach a recognition as if he had left Egypt, even though he was not there. Simply put, it can be said that it is based on what they said, that if the Holy One, blessed be He, had not taken our ancestors out, we and our children would still be enslaved. And we, because of the departure of our ancestors, were automatically redeemed as well. The Tosafot, according to the holy Zohar, explained that the souls of all Israel were in Egypt and were redeemed, and therefore it is appropriate to say that we were truly redeemed along with our ancestors.
