Letter by the gaon Rabbi Aharon Walkin of Pinsk author of ‘Zekan Aharon’, to the address of Maran the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer grodzinsky of Vilna about supporting the yeshivas of Lithuania. Pinsk, Iyar 1926. 


A letter, written on a cardboard postcard that was sent to the address of Maran the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer grodzinsky of Vilna , handwritten entirely by the great Gaon Rabbi Aahron Walkin author of ‘Zekan Aharon’ of Pinsk and with his signature, about donations that are about to be delivered to Va’ad Hayeshivas and to Rabbi Chaim Ozer by the collectors supervised by Rabbi Aharon of Pinsk. It should be noted that the letter does not contain any other matters and even its opening and ending words are written sparingly. 


The Great Gaon Rabbi Aharon Walkin of Pinsk author of ‘Zekan Aharon’ (1865-1942) one of the greatest Poskim of Lithuania between the two world wars, a student of the Volozhin Yeshiva. Lighted Yisroel with his Torah and Psakim. The greatest rabbis sent him their halachic questions including the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer of Vilna and the Imrei Emes of Gur. Was one of the founders of Agudas Yisroel in Lithuania and did a lot of good work for Am Yisroel as its member. the Rav of several cities until he became the Rav of Pinsk.
